Tarek Ahmed Abd-El Rahman, MB.BCH, is an Associate Professor of Public Health and Nutrition in El-Minia University, and a Consultant of Eating Disorders in Clinical nutrition unit in Minia University Hospital.
He holds a MD. degree of “Public health, social & Preventive Medicine” from El-Minia University, and a MS, C. degree of the same field. He also holds a MS, C. degree of “Internal Medicine ” from El- Minia University.
He has his own centre for diabetes and obesity in El-Minia, and published many researches globally and regionally.
He has many memberships, such as Egyptian medical syndicate, Egyptian society of Community Medicine, Upper Egypt Diabetes Association (UEDA) and Egyptian Medical Association of study of obesity (EMASO).
He shared the editing of many publications, such as the book of communicable & non-communicable diseases for fourth year medical students in 2009, and the book of preventive medicine for fourth year medical students in 2011.
